San (SuzanneTHartman) is an aspiring poet, essayist, fiction writer, and artist nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her children. Her genre is literary fiction drawing on a blend of adult fantasy fiction, folktale/fairytale, and academia. Her writing and art explores sacred moments of family, nature, and neurodiversity. She looks at the human experience through a glass darkly lens.

With her passion for inclusive representation and gift for capturing fleeting moments, San crafts literary works that resonate with readers. Her emerging writer and artist identity celebrates the complexity and beauty of everyday life. San graduated with highest honors Summa cum laude January 2024 with her BA in English Literature and Creative Writing and Poetry. In February 2024, she began her Master of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing and Fiction Literature. San is a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Lambda Continuing Education Honor Society, and two other honor societies.
